I guess sometimes i will prob go and find nothing. but this time i guess i got lucky :)) lolGoodwill, like all Thrift Stores is hit or miss. You never know what they will have because the inventory changes daily and the good stuff doesn't last very long. When they rely on donations for their inventory you never know what will come through the doors. That's why your best strategy is to shop often but don't expect to score every time you shop.

We go thrift store shopping almost every Saturday morning. Sometimes we score big, sometimes we come home empty handed. Our strategy is to concentrate on the thrift stores in the best neighborhoods because that's where the best donations will come from. There are two very good Goodwill stores in Sandy Springs (Johnson Ferry and Abernathy) and one in Buckhead (Roswell Rd).
I have better luck in America's Thrift Store -- but I periodically check out Goodwill, too. An advantage of Goodwill is that you can try things on -- but you can't return them. (In America's Thrift, it's the other way around.)

We've all gotten clothing at Goodwill. (it's my daughter's 'go-to' store when she needs shorts for the summer.) I've also gotten some pretty glass-wear there, including a new, expensive salad bowl. Oh -- it's also a good place to look for books.
